Build Your Own AI Assistant

No-code AI assistants for trades, builders & real estate offices

Most people who try AI get uneven results. This hands-on course teaches your office team a repeatable way to build assistants that handle the same task the same way every time, such as intake calls, client updates, project reports and permit checks, then connect several into a team of AI agents, and know when not to trust them.

  • 5 live sessions
  • 10 instructional hours
  • Up to 12 per class
  • No coding
  • Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot

What your team will be able to do

Skills they keep using after the class ends.

  • Explain the five parts of a working AI assistant: instructions, reference knowledge, examples, output format and built-in checks.
  • Write clear, reusable instructions so an assistant behaves the same way every time.
  • Ground an assistant in reference documents so it answers only from them and says when it doesn't know.
  • Build multi-step assistants that turn emails, texts, notes and spreadsheets into summaries, tables, drafts and checklists.
  • Test an assistant, catch wrong or made-up answers, and fix the instructions.
  • Build a multi-node agent team: several focused agents that pass work to each other, with a checker and a person's approval at the end.
  • Decide which tasks an assistant should handle, and what information never goes into an AI tool.
  • Document an assistant on one page so a co-worker can run and maintain it.

Who it's for

Built for the people who run the office.

Office managers, coordinators, dispatchers, estimators, project managers, admin and marketing staff, and owner-operators. No technical background needed.

Trades companies

Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, pools and remodeling. Learn to build an assistant that turns calls, texts and emails into clean job intake and replies, quoted only from a price book.

Builders & developers

Learn to build assistants and agent teams that write weekly owner updates from a project log, check permit applications against zoning rules, and draft subcontractor follow-ups for a person to approve.

Real estate offices

Learn to build an office assistant that answers staff questions from a policy manual and listing sheets, drafts client updates, and keeps wording fair-housing safe.

The five sessions

Lecture, live demo, then hands-on practice with feedback.

Every exercise uses the same practice kit: three fictional businesses with real-world files and planted errors to catch. No company or customer data is used in class. You apply what you learn to your own work after the course.

  1. 01

    How assistants work

The five parts of an assistant, and why consistency matters. Build a front-desk intake assistant and run it on real-style calls and texts.

  2. 02

    Knowledge & examples

Make an assistant answer only from your documents, cite them, and decline what it can't answer. Build an office knowledge assistant.

  3. 03

    Multi-step workflows

Chain steps from reading to sorting, drafting and checking. Build a project and permits assistant that catches a zoning violation.

  4. 04

    Multi-node agent teams

Split one job across four focused agents: a reader, a specialist, a writer and a checker. Test the team end to end and find exactly which agent made a mistake.

  5. 05

    Limits, rollout & capstone

What an AI agent should never do alone, and how to roll one out to your team. Then improve an assistant or agent team, prove it with test results, and present it live.
